Who we are
Considered a utopian vision in the 1990s, professtional LED lighting is indispensable today. LUMITECH has made a significant contribution to establishing LED technologies as a standard in the lighting industry. When Prof. Dr. Günter Leising, Dr. Stefan Tasch, DI Hans Hoschopf and Dr. Christian Hochfilzer founded the company in 1997, LED technology was still inits infancy and there was a lack of competitive solutions for the lighting industry. Today, the LUMITECH Group supplies over 40 countries worldwide.

LUMITECH stands for the best white light quality, high color rendering, special color locations, high efficiency, one hundred percent reliability and maximum flexibility. In order to meet these high quality standards, we rely exclusively on European production.
Experienced
LUMITECH is the pacemaker of LED technology. We are working purely on LED technology for over 25 years and setting industry standards with more than 130 patents. LUMITECH set international standards with pioneering patents in chip-on-board technology and color conversion and developed the world's first warm white LEDs. LUMITECH was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Innovation for the development of PI-LED technology.
Reliable
Many LED suppliers today offer warranty terms of 5 years. LUMITECH offers 7 years. A European based production and the mayjority of parts being sourced from European suppliers ensures an extremely high degree of supply reliability and reduces lead time.
Sustainable
The LUMITECH Group was awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal! In an industry comparison, LUMITECH is among the top 2% of companies rated by EcoVadis. This reinforces LUMITECH's pioneering role, which is manifested above all by the lowest CO2 footprint of its luminaires, which is achieved in particular through high vertical integration with regional sourcing at its ISO 14001-certified Net-Zero site in Jennersdorf.
